What it does, and what it doesn't.

Fitting
Contain shows the whole picture, Cover fills the page and trims the edges, Stretch fills it exactly.

Page size
Fit makes each page the picture's own size; A4, Letter and Legal give a document that prints.

Transparency
Pictures with transparent parts are kept as PNG inside the PDF; photos as JPEG, to stay small.
